Blogging for beginners

Everyone is a beginner when they start something new. Whether that is learning to play a sport, learning to swim or even deciding to run/be an affiliate of an online business. Either way, everybody starts somewhere and with time, they begin to show improvement and master that one thing (if they want to that is). With that said, there are people out there who are a business affiliate or a networker but don’t yet have a blog. This is something you need to work on right away. This series is for everyone but is mainly intended for those people who do not yet have a blog and for those who do but aren’t sure how to succeed with it.

What is a blog

A blog is basically a website that you can own which gives you the right to express literally anything you want (within reason obviously lol). It is a place where you can write articles ranging from how to advertise your online business and ways of making money online to simply expressing your opinions on something or even talking about your favorite music artists/giving reviews etc. It’s entirely up to you.

Below is a list where you are given some tips and advice on how to start writing some good blogs and how you can use them to build your online business, offline business or whatever else you are advertising/promoting. These points will mainly be linked to those who network and are looking to build their business.

Tips on blog writing

1) The first thing you should do is ensure you include links in your posts. This gives the reader something to do instead of just reading and that’s it. Also, how else are you going to advertise and build your business without having a link that will direct them to a site? Links then are very crucial when it comes to building your business using a blog.

2) Offer valuable content. This is another thing that you need to make sure is included throughout your blog. If you want to succeed in network marketing, you need to build relationships with those in the same field. This relationship is built through traffic and people who opt in or subscribe to your blog. Again, people are more likely to subscribe if you are offering solid, valuable information that can help solve their problems.

3) Your articles need to be written grammatically and so presented in a professional manner. Everything needs to be correct and the layout/structure should also be on-point. This makes it easier to read your post and also makes you and your blog look a lot more professional. Furthermore, the more professional you look, the more likely someone will do business with you.

4) When it comes to blogs, you need to be both consistent an efficient. You should be aiming to post articles on a regular basis and not once a week or even twice a week. 5 articles a week isn’t too bad but posting one every day is even better. Why? Because the more you post, the more chances you have of your blog being seen.

5) If you ever have ‘writers block’ (where you can’t think of anything to write) then it is a good idea to check out other blogs and read the information on there. You have to be careful here though because you don’t want to go down for copyright (as some blogs have this). However, taking this approach may give you new topics and ideas to write about.

So in conclusion, a blog is a great way of not only building your business but also building relationships with the thousands of other networkers around you. This is the crucial part because people will join people for who they are and what they have to offer. If you are offering something of value it is more likely someone will join you as to where you can start a new, professional relationship.

How to grow your online business

Growth! This is the one word that should always be going around in the head of a network marketer, a business entrepreneur or even an affiliate because as an affiliate, if you help the business grow then you too will grow in both recognition and income. It is the one thing that will help you and your business succeed and without this one thing, you will not see a difference in your online business or your income therefore, hopefully with the information and advice posted here, you will take action and help your business as well as yourself grow.

When it comes down to it, it is very difficult for ANYONE to succeed in network marketing without a sponsor or someone to ask questions to when they need answers the most. It can be very difficult to make business decisions and purchase the ‘latest product’ that can help your online business grow if you don’t know someone who can advise you in terms of that product. Furthermore, and the most important point, it can be very difficult to grow your online business if you don’t know how to advertise or don’t have the correct training materials which is normally the case for beginners. No need to worry though because once you’ve read this article, you will have a choice. You can either take action and grow your online business, or sit on the sidelines and struggle every day for the rest of your life.

Wealthy Affiliate and who they are

The solution to all of the above is something called Wealthy Affiliate. Some of you may have heard of them and then again some of you may not have. Wealthy Affiliate is basically a service ran by two successful people named Kyle and Carson. It’s amazing as to where they are now in comparison to where they once were. (‘Google’ them if you want to know more) Wealthy Affiliate has been around for quite a while now and has helped many, many people in achieving success and making money online.

Why should I join Wealthy Affiliate?

The reasons as to why you should take action and join Wealthy Affiliate are listed below:

They are THE #1 site when it comes to advertising and training if you want to grow your online business. Remember, a serious networker who wants to achieve success is always willing to learn new things and implement them.

As well as being the #1 site for training, they have also been rated #1 by nearly 500,000 other websites! This just goes to show that networkers like me are not the only ones to praise the services of Wealthy Affiliate.

Another reason as to why you should join is because Kyle and Carson have just recently upgraded the site to a ‘platinum’ level. This means you will receive even more training features and materials which increases your chances of both growing your online business and making more money!

The site also has its very own forum where members can share tips, advice and business tools that can help you. WA’s success is based on YOUR success and because of this; they aim to bring you all the necessary tools in order for you to succeed.

Your opinion is valued. According to Kyle and Carson, ‘creativity is the essence of innovation and evolution’ therefore if YOU have a request of some sort whether that’s adding something new to WA or a resource request, then it will be taken into consideration.

So, in conclusion, the above 5 reasons are why you should consider joining Wealthy Affiliate and taking your business to a whole new level with some great training and promotional materials. As mentioned earlier, you can either take action now and grow your online business or you can pass on this opportunity and continue to sit on the sidelines while those who are taking action, are continuing to make a lot more money online and take their business to a new level.

Making money online by outsourcing

Outsourcing is something that many networkers may not be aware of but hopefully this article will clear that misconception and will actually benefit some people providing they implement on what they read. Outsourcing is something that is very easy to do and literally anyone can do it because it really is that simple! It can also help you in making a decent amount of money online depending on the amount of times you effectively use it.

What is outsourcing

For those that don’t know or aren’t yet aware of what outsourcing is, it is basically where you write articles for someone and then ask someone else to do most of the work for you! This may sound confusing or you may be thinking ‘what the hell?’ but allow me to explain a little more. Say for example, someone wants you to write 5 articles consisting of 500 words each and you charge $200. You then turn around and ask someone else to do most of the work meaning there will be someone out there who will charge you as little as $5-$10 per article.

So, let’s say you find a writer who will write the 5 articles for a total of $80 and you are happy with that price. You will then give them the task of writing those articles. When you get them back though, make sure you double check them to ensure there are no mistakes because you do not want to look unprofessional as this won’t create a very good impression. You will then send the writer his/her $80 and send the articles to the person who asked YOU to write for them and they will pay YOU the agreed price of $200. The end result? You make a profit of $120! Pretty sweet huh?! The more outsourcing you do, the more money you can make online. You can use sites such as Craigslist and Elance to find some sort of work or topic that someone wants you to write on.

Some tips for outsourcing

Make sure you do your ‘homework’ and try to find out some information on the person you will write for because you don’t want to give them the articles and they don’t end up paying you!

You can either look for projects which are similar or ones that are not related. If they are similar, it will be a lot easier for you to produce whereas you may have to do some research on topics that you are not familiar with.

If you are looking for writers to outsource to, ensure that they are good. You will know this by the quality of the articles that they will write for you. If they are good then stick with them and build a professional relationship with them so you know they will be available for future projects.

In addition to the above point, it may also be a good idea to compliment the writer if you are happy with the article they have written. This will not only boost their confidence but will also keep them satisfied and motivated to work even harder in the future which will benefit you.

In conclusion, outsourcing is a great way to make money online and even build relationships! Remember networking is all about building relationships and gaining the trust of people so you can turn to them in the future. Furthermore, you also have nothing to lose when it comes to outsourcing because in the end, everyone ends up making money!

How bum marketing can make you money online (Part 2)

In yesterday’s article we covered the idea of bum marketing and what it is. The article also contained information on the reasons as to why people take this path and the advantages that come with it. This post however will follow-on from the first one and will explain in detail on the steps that were mentioned on how you can use bum marketing to make money online.

To recap, the steps were the following:

1) Find a market or business that has very little competition.
2) Look for a product within that market which comes with a good commission/affiliate plan.
3) Begin to write some articles on the product.
4) Submit your article to article directories such as ezine, goarticles, isnare and articlesfactory.

Finding a market with little competition

The most easiest and effective route to take here is to use Google as this IS the ‘king’ of search engines. You would need to enter a specific keyword or keyword phrase such as ‘lose weight’ or ‘building muscle’. However, if you type that in then the results for that will be endless resulting in a high number of links and that is NOT what we are looking for therefore in order to combat this, you should use Google’s keywords tool and enter the business name into the search box. Once the search has been completed, you will get a list of keywords which are related to what you typed into the box.

As we are looking for a market which as low competition, it would be a good idea to look for a keyword (out of the list) that has no more than 150 searches on a daily basis because the less competition = more chances of you gaining success with the product and making money off of it.

Looking for the right product

Once you have found the correct market, you would need to look for the right product and this can be done by using ClickBank. Different products will give you different commission payouts so make sure you choose one that is something reasonably good and that YOU will be happy promoting. ClickBank has thousands of products available to you therefore it shouldn’t be too hard in finding one.

Writing your articles

This is where we take it to the next level because some real thinking will actually be involved that is unless you get someone else to write your articles for you! You should write at least 5 articles on the product ensuring that you have the right keywords and relevant content. Furthermore, ensure that you have included your keyword/s in your title and that is something that grabs the public’s attention. For example would you click on a article title that says ‘make money online’ or a title that says ‘5 effective methods of making $100 online in 10 days’? Most would choose the second.

You need to start off your article with something that will persuade the reader to continue reading and not press the back button on their browser or the little ‘x’ in the corner. The main body of your article should contain the advantages of the product/business and how it can benefit the reader. Lastly, you should also make sure that your article is no more than 600 words and no less than 400 and within each paragraph, you have included your keyword at least once.

Submitting your articles

This doesn’t really need much explanation as it is pretty self-explanatory. There are loads of article directories online and some of these have been mentioned at the beginning of the article. Here they are again though- Ezine, Goarticles, Isnare and Articlesfactory just to name a few.

Overall then bum marketing is a pretty simple concept to understand as well as implement. It is a good way of making money online and even though you won’t make millions or even 5 figures you could be making a nice amount that could help you in many ways.

How bum marketing can make you money online (Part 1)

Bum marketing is a concept that is known by some networkers but then again is something completely new to others. It may even be new to you. However, that will no longer be the case because the aim of this article is to explain the idea behind bum marketing, what it actually is and how you can use it to make money online.

What exactly is bum marketing

When we think of the word ‘bum’ we would normally associate it with someone who is lazy and doesn’t really bother to do anything with their life. It’s one of those people who want things to be done for them by other people and may even rely on government benefits when it comes to getting money. Bum marketing is just that! It’s a lazy way of making money online and surprisingly, it works!

Bum marketing mainly consists of the following steps:

1) You would begin by finding a market or business which has very little competition or any competition at all!

2) Once you have found that market/business, you would then look for a product within it that gives you the chance to earn some good commission payments.

3) Once you have the product, your next step would be to write some articles on the product (if you’re REALLY lazy pay someone to write them for you)!

4) Next, you would find article directories and then submit your article online. Some examples of article directories are Ezine, Goarticles, Isnare and Articlesfactory. (There are many more though).

Once ALL of the above has been successfully completed, sit back and wait for your commission payments to roll in! There really isn’t any point in explaining the reasons as to why people take this route to make money online but for arguments sake, they will briefly be mentioned.

What are the advantages of bum marketing?

It is completely FREE! People love doing things that are free and especially if it benefits them.

When it comes to bum marketing it doesn’t matter if you have a list or not or even if you don’t have a website! You don’t need a website or a list to use bum marketing to make money online and this saves valuable time and effort.

As there is no investment involved and none of your money leaves your bank account, you literally have NOTHING to lose out on! It is a win/win situation and in the end you will end up earning some sort of commission payment as long as everything is done correctly.

So in conclusion, you can see that bum marketing may be a very lazy method to make money online but despite that, it does work because it has worked for many other networkers and business affiliates so why won’t it work for you? All you have to do is follow and complete the steps that were outlined earlier in the article and hopefully within a month you will see some sort of difference in your business if you are advertising that or a commission payment if you are promoting a product.

How can I build my business using Twitter? (Part 2)

The first part of ‘how can I build my business using Twitter?’ contained information on what not to do if you want to achieve success with your business and make money online or offline. This article then will consist of information on what you should do if you want to build your business and attain financial freedom.

Personal picture

This is one of the first things that you should do once you have created your Twitter profile and added the necessary information. When it comes to uploading a picture, it should really be of yourself and not anything else. This is because it shows your followers and potential followers that you are a real person and not some ‘robot’ as some people or sites would say hence asking you to enter a validation code. A personal picture also goes a long way in helping people remember who you are and with that they will remember how you have helped them in achieving success and building their business.

Growing your network

There are some people on Twitter who have like 1,000+ followers but are following 0 people and vice versa! How that works out is a mystery to me lol but it does happen and it is still happening! You should try to have a somewhat equal amount of both followers and the number of people that you are following because you want to have a good chance that your tweets are being seen by people and tweets being posted by others, are being seen by you because you never know, one tweet could make all the difference in you building your business and in the end, making money online.

People in your target market

Moreover, when it comes to growing your network and getting more followers, you should try to target both people in your market and those who are not in your market. ‘Why should I follow both and not one’ you may be thinking? Well if you follow people who are in your target market (online business field), then you have the chance to offer your services consisting of help, tips and advice which could help them in their business venture. Furthermore, a tweet from someone in the same field as you may also inspire you to take action in something or can really help you in building your business whether that’s getting more traffic, more leads or just simple tips.

People not in your target market

The reason as to why you should follow people who are not in your target market or the same field as you is because you could really help them in changing their life and bringing money to the table. Most people have been hit by the recession and are unemployed therefore money is an absolute necessity and what better way is there than to look online because the rewards are lucrative and the things that come with an online business are also beneficial. In addition to this, some people may also be looking for an online business opportunity and your tweet could be the reason for them joining.

So as you can see, there are also things that you need/should do if you want to build your business using Twitter. The main thing you need to ensure is that you grow your network everyday because the more followers you have, the more chances you have of someone clicking on your link and visiting your website giving them the chance to see what you have to offer. This is the best way to build your business using Twitter because you are generating traffic and without traffic, you won’t really get anywhere.

How can I build my business using Twitter? (Part 1)

Nearly everyone knows what Twitter is but if you don’t then where have you been hiding lately?! So for those who don’t know, Twitter is a micro blogging site and can also be seen as a social media site as you can interact with other people from all over the world. The number of Twitter users is growing on a daily basis and why not? It is a great way to build your business whether that’s online or offline as well as being able to make relationships with other networkers which is what networking is about.

What is different about Twitter?

Twitter is in fact very different to the other social media sites that we are a part of. Yeah you can put your picture up, yeah you can talk to other people and yeah you can add/follow people but that is the difference. YOU decide who you want to follow and vice versa therefore making it easier to target a certain market or choose certain people within a business. For example if you search for the term ‘home based business’ a list of people will come up who are either in a home based business or ‘tweet’ about an home based business.

What NOT to do on Twitter

One thing you shouldn’t do whilst using Twitter (at least not straight away) is begin to sell something or tell people to buy this and that. You need to build both trust and credibility with your followers first before you decide to ‘pitch’ a sale and this is done by offering them value, something that will help them in building their business. Put others before yourself and the rewards will soon be seen. If you do offer value and good, solid information, it is more likely your site will get visitors which means more traffic and we all know what that means! More traffic = more leads which could = more money.

Another thing you should avoid doing is ALWAYS answering the ‘what are you doing?’ question. Some people tend to literally answer the question without offering any other useful tweets. It comes down to this. No one really cares if you just gave your dog a bath or if you just ate a blackberry pie! Be constructive and post tweets that are relevant and useful to other people. Twitter is a site where you network with other people and yeah, you can liven your tweets up every once in a while but use topics that are actually interesting and not mundane.

You should also avoid sending links in DM (direct messages) especially if you have not yet built a strong relationship with the other person and especially if you are thinking of giving them a sales pitch on a new product you just decided to promote. You should only send links if you know that the information on your website is useful and can help them solve a problem or make it easier for them to make money online.

So, in conclusion, you shouldn’t really be using Twitter as a sales site when you first join and if you hardly know anyone that is on there. Your aim should be to build relationships then going on to maintain those relationships and write tweets that offer valuable information which will give people the opportunity to both build their business and make money online.

Why people don't make money online

We’ve all been there and done that. Some people have even been in networking for a long time and are running an online business but have not made a single penny! So why is this? There are many reasons as to why hundreds or even thousands of people are not achieving success and as a result, are not making money online. This article will explain these reasons and will hopefully be useful to you so you know what NOT to do giving you more of a chance to successfully be an affiliate or run your home based business.

Not serious/business minded

This is the 1st reason as to why people will fail online. If you want to achieve success and make money, then you need to be serious and take the necessary steps which are seen below:

To treat your online business as a real business.
To be serious and have a mind like that of a dedicated businessman/woman.
To ‘think rich’ as this could very well result in you becoming rich!

The above are the main 3 reasons that come under the heading of ‘not being serious/business minded’ and if YOU don’t possess any of the above 3, then now is the time to change that because it will only benefit you in the end. Remember, it is your future and the steps you take now could be the reason for where you are in 5 years time.

A lack of focus

The above reason smoothly brings me onto the 2nd as to why people fail online. Many, many networkers and home business entrepreneurs suffer from a lack of focus and this is a big difference maker. It is the ‘stepping stone’ between success and failure. Stick with what you are advertising/promoting and don’t move onto every new business opportunity you see because you simply will not be able to promote everything with the correct time, effort and dedication.

Stick and don’t move

So you may be thinking what the hell do you mean by ‘stick and don’t move’? Well, that basically means stick to what you are doing therefore making it an additional sub-point to the reason above. (A lack of focus). When people are not seeing results with one business, they decide to move onto another and then also fail with that one before moving on to the next! A quick word of advice guys. If you are failing in a certain business, it is NOT the business it is YOU. You need to step your game up and maybe try out a different advertising method, put in more effort or even do your homework and make sure you are using the right keywords, SEO etc.

A lack of activity

This is another reason as to why many networkers don’t make a single penny online. They simply talk the talk but don’t put the money where their mouth is! Everyone knows that if you sit around and wait for something to happen which will make money magically appear in your bank account or PayPal, you’re going to be waiting for a very, very long time indeed. Actions=results so if you want to achieve success and make money online, pull your socks up and take action!

They are just a few reasons as to why people do not achieve success online and as a result, decide to blame the business and say it is nothing but a big fat scam! Reality check guys. It is YOUR responsibility to put the work and effort in if you want to build a successful home based business. If you fail or do not see results, it is not the business, the business is not a scam (in most cases) it is YOUR fault. Take responsibility for your actions and don’t blame others!

3 ways to build your business list

Any internet marketer or networker knows that ‘the money is in the list’. If you do not have a list then that basically means you don’t really have anyone to ‘sell’ to or help out when it comes to building an online business and making money online. This obviously means that your chances of making money using the internet will not get you very far and so in the end you may be unsuccessful. This article however, will offer you 3 ways of how you can build a list and keep that list.

Firstly, let me ask you a question. Would you rather have 5 hard working, dedicated people in your business downline whether that’s GDI, People Search, Monavie you name it or would you rather have 20 people who are unmotivated, lazy and won’t bother to take any action? The choice is pretty obvious, well for me anyway. With the 5 duplication is very likely which in return will bring you money whereas with the 20, there will be no duplication which equals no money. This brings me on to building your list.

1st way of building your list

The first thing you need to ensure is that your website looks somewhat professional and not like a site that someone will leave as soon as they get on it! The saying first impressions count is a valid statement here because whatever the person sees could either persuade them to stay and see what you have to offer, or will make them hit the ‘x’ and exit. (Remember, EVERY person can end up being a potential customer). In relation to this, your website should be quick to load and not have things that will take it longer than needed to load. Furthermore, it should be easy to navigate and simple to use.

2nd way of building your list

Now that the 1st ‘technique’ has been explained, it swiftly brings me on to the 2nd. Your website should contain a ‘subscribe’ or an ‘opt-in’ box or something similar. A good place to have this would be somewhere near the top or on the right hand side (again towards the top). This is because it will be ‘staring people in the face’ therefore making it easy for them to take action. The easier it is for the people, the more chances you have of them staying and reading which could result in them signing up to one of your business opportunities.

3rd way of building your list

The final way of building your list and running a successful online business is related to your content and what you have to offer. (Remember inform and explain) you want to HELP the people by giving solutions to their problems and not adding to them. Furthermore, if your content is well constructed and what you are offering can help, then the more chances you have of them purchasing something. If you’re lucky they may even tell their fellow networkers or friends about your site which will give you more exposure which means more traffic! 

So as you can see, all these 3 factors go hand-in-hand. If you have a website (which you should) it needs to be well constructed, have an ‘opt-in’ box and the content should be of top quality which offers help and advice to the rest of the world. Only then, will you gradually get subscribers and begin to build your list. It takes time though. So don’t be put off if it does not work straight away.

Using search engines to generate traffic for your online business

Using search engines to generate traffic for your online business is something that should be one of your top priorities because it is a great way to build your online business and make money. Many networkers if not most, already know about search engines and the importance that they hold when it comes to building their business. Those new to the industry though and those who are new to networking, have a very limited knowledge on the idea of search engines, SEO and using keywords.

For a very long time now search engines have been the first thing that people use if they want to find out information about something. Whether that’s a product, a question they need answering, a review you name it. However, many sites do not get clicked on or viewed because they are not on the first page of the search engine’s results. This should NOT be the case with you. Your aim should be to reach at least the 1st page of Google’s results if not the first 3-4 links because the more exposure you have, the more beneficial it will be for you and your internet business. This can be achieved through one thing and that is keywords.

General information on keywords

In order for your site to have a good ranking in Google, you need to have the right keywords as well as the right amount. If you throw in too many keywords and have them everywhere in the article or piece of information you are submitting online, the article may be recognised as being spam and as a result, will be nowhere near the 1st page. This problem can be overcome though if you have the right ‘keyword density’ (more on that later) and you have included the right keywords as part of your content.

You can find the right keywords by using one of Google’s services entitled the Google Adwords keyword tool. Enter your keyword into the field and click on enter. For example if you are finding keywords that relate to People Search, you can enter the words themselves or use other words such as home based business, using the internet to make money, make money online etc. Google will then find the words that have been searched the most in relation to what you entered. This is where you will find suitable keywords that you can use and include in your article. The words with the highest searches would be a good place to start because these are words that people have been typing in to Google.

SEO and keyword density

Earlier the idea of keyword density was mentioned so now is the time where it will be explained in more detail. Keyword density is basically the amount of times that you include the keywords into your piece of writing. Your keyword density for the entire article should be no less than 2% and no more than 4% otherwise your site will rank high enough to be clicked on and seen. In terms of keyword density, you could include your keywords say once or twice in every paragraph and no more.

The idea of SEO is very similar to that of keywords and their density. This is also related to the concept of page rank and position when it comes to the search engine’s results page. You should be aiming to have the right keywords in the right places and this will help you when it comes to SEO and being on the 1st page or even the 1st 2-3 links when it comes to Google.

So in conclusion, search engines are a really good way of generating traffic for your online business. This is simply because the higher your page or website is ranked in the results page, the more chance there is of someone clicking on your link and checking out what you have to offer. Who knows? They could even end up buying something or signing up to one of your business opportunities which would both build your online business and make you money online.

Building your link to grow your online business

The idea of link building or otherwise known as ‘backlinks’ is something that hasn’t been written about or even mentioned in any article on this blog. It is something that everyone strives to do (or at least should do) because it can benefit you in two ways. The first one being that it can improve your page rank in a search engine’s results and secondly it can add to the SEO side of things. SEO = Search Engine Optimization.

What is a backlink?

Before we get into more detail the definition of ‘backlinking’ is simply where you place the link of your website on a different site. For example, you can leave a comment on someone’s blog post and then add the link of your website at the end. This is a ‘backlink’. It is very simple to understand and the concept behind it is also very straight forward therefore anyone can do it, whether you are an experienced networker or not.

Why should I backlink?

The answer to this question is very, very simple and only consists of one word. Traffic. This is a good way to generate traffic and build your online business because when people see your link they may click on it to visit your website and who knows? They could end up signing up to a business you a part of or end up purchasing a product which in return will put money into your pocket. Without traffic you will not succeed it’s as simple as that, nothing more and nothing less.

With the above said that doesn’t mean you can go on hundreds of random websites and post your link. This won’t get you anywhere and even worse, instead of increasing your page rank within the search engine, it will decrease it! Why? Because Google has indexed information that has been written and posted on thousands of sites it obviously knows what the content of that site is. Keeping this in mind, you should only ‘backlink’ with sites that are similar to yours or contain similar content. There is no point in ‘backlinking’ if your site is business related to a site which is about music because there is no correlation whatsoever. So, if you do want to build your online business via ‘backlinks’ do yourself a favour and only post your link to sites that are of relevance. Taking this into consideration, you wouldn’t really post a link regarding People Search on a website which is about art and textiles because they are too very different fields and the link will not be a ‘quality’ one because of this reason. Search engines such as Google love quality links and not irrelevant ones.

This field is a two way thing though. This basically meaning that make sure you check on what sites are being linked back to yours because if you ‘backlink’ on a site and then a site isn’t ‘backlinked’ onto yours, then the other site will get all the credit (traffic) and your website will not get a higher ranking which means less clicks and less traffic.

Using ‘backlinks’ then are a great way of generating traffic and building your online business. It can literally be done by anyone in the networking industry and the concept behind it is very straightforward and uncomplicated. It is a different way of generating traffic compared to other methods such as PPC, writing articles, ads etc which also take up time. Posting a link though takes how long? 5 seconds if that? So get started today and build your online business by generating traffic via ‘backlinks’.

Why should I join an online business?

Ever since the recession hit this world major changes have taken place. Unemployment has been higher than ever resulting in thousands of people and companies losing their jobs and being shut down. Many people have been finding it very difficult to pay the bills, the mortgage, car insurance or whatever else your money needs to go on. They just about have enough to cover the basics meaning they hardly have anything to spend on themselves or their family. It may seem like an ‘overstatement’ but the recession has hit many people harder than you think.

Joining an online business

Moving on to the point of this article though, why should you join an online business? Well the answer is very simple. Freedom and stability. Personally, these are the two core reasons as to why anyone and yes even YOU should join an online business. Now then, please be honest with yourselves as a few questions will be fired your way. These can be seen below:

Are you happy with your 9-5 job?
Are you happy with the amount of time you spend with your family?
Do you get enough time off?
Is it worth the stress?

If the answers to the above are yes then hey, credit goes to you but most people will answer no to most of these questions and they are not too blame. Working a 9-5 5 days a week every week can get pretty boring and stressful. Then there’s the sound of waking up to your alarm every morning and if only you could (forget the snooze button) but just turn it off and have a lie in only to wake up whatever time you desire. That is just a brief example of what it is like doing a 9-5 shift. However, advantages of having an online business over your 5 day and 40 hours a week job are listed below:

The main thing here is freedom. You are able to work when you want, wherever you want. Running an online business doesn’t involve working and stressing over meeting any deadlines or answering to your boss. You are the boss and the only deadline you have is to make money! :)

In relation to the above point regarding freedom, financial freedom also comes under this. Many networkers are earning 5, 6 and even 7 figure incomes a month whereas before they were only earning 5 figures over the entire year! They would work there backside off everyday taking demands only to make that money in 12 months whereas running an online business can give you the chance to make that money in 1 month! It won’t be achieved overnight but with the right thinking, consistency and effort it can be done.

You can just pick up and head off where you desire. Go on exotic vacations, roam the world, go wherever you want! Remember when you were younger you had a dream of visiting a certain country or someone would ask you name one country where you would like to stay or visit? (Mine was Italy lol) Well, if you join an online business you are given the opportunity to turn that dream into a reality and visit the country of your choice.

You may be thinking ‘ok is that all? 3 reasons as to why I should I join an online business?’ Well, them 3 reasons should be more than enough to persuade you to leave your 9-5 and look towards the future, a successful future-one that involves networking and running a successful, online, home based business.

How do I make money as a Clickbank affiliate?

95% of networkers are aware of Clickbank and what it is but what about the other 5% then you may be thinking? To answer the question, this article is aimed at those 5% of people who may not know about Clickbank and what it offers. It is very likely that this small group of networkers are new to the internet industry and as a result, have never come across Clickbank and its services. Furthermore, making money as a Clickbank affiliate isn’t very difficult and that process will be explained below.

What is Clickbank?

Before we ‘dive in deep’ Clickbank is basically a website that serves two functions. You can either make money from them by ‘selling’ a product or you can have your own product and upload it onto the server. These two features are known as either an affiliate or a publisher. As this article is about making money as a Clickbank affiliate, the publisher side of things will not be mentioned.

Becoming a Clickbank affiliate

Becoming a Clickbank affiliate and beginning the process to make money is both quick and free. An affiliate would basically be ‘selling’ a product that they (Clickbank) offer, meaning that if you manage to get someone to purchase a product you will get paid via commission. The commission payments available to you are all very different as they can range from as little as $5 all the way up to $50 or higher! So think before you decide to promote or advertise a product. If you put a lot of time and effort into your business or advertising (like me) then go for a product which offers at least $20-$25+ per sale.

Why become a Clickbank affiliate?

Now that the term ‘Clickbank affiliate’ has been explained we shall move onto the reasons as to why you should become an affiliate and the advantages that come with it. The ONLY thing that should be on your mind is to make a sale and get the commission payment that you truly deserve! This is the main thing than an affiliate has to do. However, there are also other reasons as to why you should consider becoming an affiliate instead of a publisher. These can be seen below:

You don’t have to worry about a sales page or an opt-in page or any other type of business or product related page. This is the job of the publisher. We all know that creating a sales page can be rather time-consuming and a decent amount of effort needs to be put in especially if you want good, solid content and a high conversion rate.

As you won’t have to create a sales page, there won’t be a product to create either! You are an affiliate which means you will be advertising/promoting someone else's product and not creating your own. (Note: If you do want to go down this path though and create your own product to sell, then you will have to sign up as a publisher and NOT an affiliate.)

So in conclusion as you can see, there is more than one reason as to why you should become a Clickbank affiliate instead of a publisher. The advantages outnumber the disadvantages because their simply aren’t any! You don’t have to worry about creating a product, creating a sales page or even what the customer will say if the product didn’t reach their expectations! The only thing you need to do is be able to generate traffic to that sales page and hope that they purchase the product which in return will put some money into your pocket.

P.S. Like to become an affiliate in a different field and gain a 'guaranteed' $125 in the 1st 24 hours? Want to build YOUR GDI downline with a system that actually works? Visit this link and see the magic for yourselves!

How can I use my blog to make money? (Part 2)

In the opening part to 'how can I make money from my blog?, the idea of making money from a blog was discussed making use of three various ‘features’. These were blog popularity, blogging networks and using Google Adsense. All of these were mentioned and explained in some detail so check out the 1st article if you haven’t yet. This post however is probably the last part which will talk about how to make money online by using your blog.

Just like in the introductory part where a few things were mentioned that you need to take into consideration if you wish to make money from your blog, the same rule will apply here. So with that said, the following things will be mentioned within this article:

Affiliate marketing
Reviewing products

Affiliate marketing

The idea of affiliate marketing and becoming an affiliate of an online business has been mentioned in one my recent posts but we shall cover it a little more in detail here. Again, as in the 1st part, the main word we need to familiarise ourselves with is traffic. Without traffic or readers no one will be reading your articles or blog posts which leads to no exposure and no money. Using your affiliate link would also be a good way of making money from your blog.

In order to do this though, you need to ensure that you don’t ‘overdo’ it and have your link after every sentence or even after every 2-3 sentences. My personal recommendation is that you include your link say once in every paragraph. So if you have 3 paragraphs, then that would equal 3 links. It’s that simple. You could also ‘be smart’ and cover your link by using words such as ‘visit this page’, ‘click here’ or the name of the business such as GDI or People Search. This would be good because it is a lot more effective and presentable rather than just throwing your entire affiliate link in the body of the text.

One word of advice though. When it comes to affiliates and affiliate marketing, many people propose their opportunity in an obvious ‘buy now’ sales pitch. This is something that you need to avoid and therefore use a different tactic. Rather than doing the obvious, aim to inform and explain as well as saying HOW this product or opportunity will benefit the reader.

Reviewing products

This is another good way of making money by using your blog. There are many companies and businesses out there that will pay you for writing a review about a product that they have on offer or any of their other products. This is also a great way of building a relationship with your reader’s because you will be recommending something that YOU think is worth talking about and if they try it out, and also sees the positive results; their trust in you will increase dramatically. Remember network marketing is about relationships and not just businesses.

An example of a few companies/sites that pay you for reviewing their products are ones entitled ‘Ciao’, ‘My Lot’ and ‘Pay Per Post’. For most of these though, your blog needs to be compatible with their standards. This basically means you need to be getting enough traffic and regularly updating your entries (adding new posts/articles consistently).

In conclusion, the above are another couple of ways as to how you can use your blog to make money online. At the end of the day, when it comes to making money online whether that’s from a blog or not, you need to be consistent and put in the effort on a regular basis. When it comes to blogging though, just remember, inform and explain don’t just jump straight in and do the obvious of pitching your offer.

People Search scam! Is this statement true?

There are many online businesses out that have caused people to ‘crash and burn’ resulting in them losing out on hundreds or even thousands of dollars. No wonder some are skeptical to join any online business whereas others just don’t want to take the risk because of the loss they may face and let’s face it, no one has money to ‘throw away’ in this period of time. However, the statement 'People Search scam' is NOT true it is a system that actually works and can benefit you in a major way, in more than one way.

The service was created and is run by Tissa Godavitarne who by now, most of the internet world knows about. He is not only well known because of People Search but also because of GDI and the success that he has achieved with it and probably still is! In relation to the previous point, he was once getting over 100 GDI sign-ups every week which gave him a rather large amount of bonus money! For every 5 people you manage to sign up in a week’s period, GDI pays you $100 therefore imagine how much Tissa made every week by referring 100+ people! However, let’s focus on the system instead of the creator because after all, this article is about the service and not the inventor!

People Search is known worldwide and is used by thousands of people on a regular basis (myself included). It has greatly helped me in growing my GDI downline and also earning money. Speaking of money, Tissa paid me a little while back via PayPal and you can see the proof of this below. This screen shot alone shows that People Search is not a scam and you do actually get paid. (Click to enlarge)

Furthermore, 'People Search scam' again is NOT a true statement as you can see from the above screen shot, pending payments are also available to me which will be in my PayPal account once the payable account balance is $200 therefore People Search is not a scam. The pending payments are those of my referrals. Every time you manage to sign up someone, you can get up to $30 per head. Also, out of that $200 that Tissa paid me, nearly half of that was referral fees so whatever you have pending does actually go to you.

How do I join People Search?

Joining People Search is completely free and you’ll even get $125 in the 1st 24 hours just for signing up! This is a ‘guaranteed’ amount that Tissa offers you if you sign up and complete the three steps which take no longer than 5-10 minutes. Additionally, as mentioned briefly earlier in the article, you can also use People Search to build your GDI downline and have a bigger business. If you’re not a member of GDI then that’s no problem because you can join whilst in the process of completing the three steps. So, without wasting any more time if you do want to join for free just visit People Search and follow the simple instructions.

How can I use my blog to make money? (Part 1)

Making a blog is an important part of advertising for any networker who is promoting his/her business or any other valuable information that they want to share with the general public. Making and maintaining a blog takes consistency, time and effort. Making a blog though isn’t just about submitting articles and informing people of what you know or have to offer. You too can benefit from your own blog by making money from it.

Before we get down to business, there are various aspects and features that you need to be aware of if you want to make money online from your blog. Some of these features are mentioned below:

Blog popularity
Blogging networks
Using Adsense

Blog popularity

Everyone knows that when it comes to blogging, content is the key. Keywords are a necessity in order to improve SEO and achieve a higher rank in a search engines result page. This is one of the main ways of generating traffic towards your blog. Ensuring that your blog is popular and getting the traffic you need isn’t really a difficult thing because all it takes is a little time and some consistency.

You can increase your blog’s popularity by submitting a range of articles that cover different topics and not just one. This means there is something for everyone, (business related or not) and who knows, some may even check out the business opportunities that you are offering and sign-up! :-) People who read blogs are in search of something that is of VALUE to them which they can implement and use to their advantage. If you don’t really have anything of value or anything to offer other than business, business and business, then your blog will not be very popular therefore having a mixture of topics is the way forward.

You will not be making money from your blog if you stick to only one topic because you will simply not be getting enough traffic. This is NOT a good thing because if you are getting no traffic and no readers, then who will click on your ads, banners or any other advertising tool you are using?

Blogging networks

This is another way of making money from your blog because the amount of traffic you receive could be enough to generate some sort of income. There is really no reason as you why you shouldn’t join a blogging network because most of them are free to join and can prove to be very beneficial for building your business.

An example of a blogging network is Blogger. This is very simple and easy to understand for literally any networker, new or experienced. It is also free and gives you the chance to make your blog from scratch. Blogger is one of if not the largest blogging network currently on the internet.

Using Adsense

Adsense is a programme that is run by Google. It is basically a service where Google Adsense places advertisements on the main content page of your blog and if people click on them, YOU can make money. Again, traffic is the keyword here. If you have a lot of traffic, then the chances of the ads being clicked on are a lot higher which as a result, gives you the opportunity to make more money.

With Adsense, you basically have the choice of deciding where you want the ads to be placed. At the bottom, the top, on the side or anywhere else on the main page. It would be a wise idea to place them either at the top or on the side and NOT at the bottom. This is because people may not scroll down to the bottom which means no click which = no money. Remember, first impressions count and a blog is no different. Lastly, having an Adsense account is completely free so what do you have to lose?

As you can see then, the #1 thing here is traffic. The more of this that you have, the higher chances of making money online via your blog. That is all for now people but keep your ears open and an eye out for the follow-up to this part which gives you other ideas/advice on how to make money from your blog.

Making money online in affiliate marketing (Part 2)

This is the second and final part of the affiliate marketing advice and tips on building your online business and what to do in order to accomplish this. In case you haven’t read the first part, the content in that was related to list building, squeeze paging and social networking. This part however, will contain information on auto responders, video advertising and blogging.

Using auto responders

This is a tool that is used by thousands of networkers simply because it is very useful and saves them a lot of time from writing e-mails and replying to people who have joined to their business opportunity. Furthermore, the auto responder also has other benefits because with this, you can create and then set up automatic e-mails (hence auto responder) as well as other information such as reports and newsletters.

These can be very useful but can also cost quite a bit so only go for them if you are generating some sort of online income. Lastly, you can also use an auto responder to automatically send out messages or newsletters to your list or subscribers without even writing anything! You should only use these around 70-80% of the time (if that) because building a REAL relationship is also necessary.

Video advertising

Video marketing is another great way of advertising your business and getting customer sign-ups/leads. Some networkers don’t really do this though maybe because they are shy or just don’t want to be seen on the internet! Either way though, you have nothing to lose because it IS free and it could be a great way of building your business and as a result, becoming a successful affiliate. The obvious choice is YouTube as this is quick, easy and free but there are also other services/sites out there where you can use professional tools to make a video and then submit it online. Lastly, because not many networkers use video advertising, you will also stand out in comparison to them, which could give you a chance of getting more sign ups and making more money online.

Blogging

This is the final feature that will be covered in the affiliate marketing segment. Blogging is something that should be a part of every networkers advertising arsenal. It is a quick and easy way to submit information online and present your business opportunity to millions of people all around the world. Furthermore, blogging is also a great way of getting business recognition and in return, building your affiliate status/rank within that business which in return will put more money in the bank for you! At the end of the day, that is what working online is about right, making money online and that too from the comfort of your very own home?

That is all for the affiliate marketing mini campaign. These two parts both contain very useful information which could definitely help out a beginner or even someone who has a bit more experience so please do check out both parts and see if they are helpful (hopefully they will be in one way or another).

Making money online in affiliate marketing (Part 1)

This will be a 2 part series all based on affiliate marketing and what you need to do if you really want to succeed. Now then, maybe this should have been constructed and posted a while ago but you learn from your mistakes and you increase your knowledge with time. That is the reason as to why this and the 2nd part will be posted from today and within the space of a couple days of each other. This part will mainly cover the concept of affiliate marketing and will talk about list building, ‘squeeze paging’ and social networking.

The affiliate business is a huge market and there are literally hundreds and thousands or even millions of people out there who are an affiliate for some business or another whether that’s in the health and wellness industry, fitness industry or even music industry?! Being an affiliate isn’t very easy but it is a lot easier than actually having all the responsibilities of running your very own business and using your own money to invest in order to gain something in return. Being an affiliate is similar because you invest in advertising but not as much in comparison to a real business owner.

Building a list

This is something that didn’t really interest me at first and it sounds really stupid but it’s true. Only recently has the concept and the importance of building a list hit me and now doing just that is my main priority. Better late than never though! Building a list and then building a relationship with that very list. You see some say a list is seen as a ‘gold mine’ and it is because if people in that list trust you, they are more likely to join you in your business venture.

Your list can be seen as being your downline. This is the mentality you need to have. You need to treat them the same way you would with people who are ACTUALLY in your downline. Contact the people in your list, and offer them advice/tips and even valuable information if you come across it.

Having a squeeze-page

For those who don’t know what a squeeze page is, it is basically a page where your viewers can ‘opt-in’ for information or anything else that you are offering. The main reason behind this is that when people submit their name and e-mail address into the ‘opt-in’ box, you send them information for free and then as a result, begin to build a trustworthy relationship. This is a very good way of building a list and building your business if you have enough information to offer. For more information on how to create your own squeeze page, just enter ‘creating a squeeze page’ into Google and a load of relevant links will come up.

Social networking

Nearly everyone online knows about this concept by now. There is a load of information out their which tells you how to build your business and even make money from sites like Twitter, MySpace, Facebook etc. Social networking sites ARE a great way to build your business and even build a list! All you have to do is send a message to all your friends explaining your business and that you want them to help you out, and then they too tell their friends and the word ultimately spreads like a wild fire.

That is all for the 1st part of affiliate marketing and what to do if you want to succeed. It may not seem like a lot but believe me, building a list is something that takes weeks or even months and not days. Not for the average networker anyway. In the next part, we will be covering some more topics on what you need if you want to succeed in affiliate marketing so keep your eyes opened and until then, good luck in your business ventures.

Using articles to build your online business

As the title of this post suggests, the main focus in this piece of writing will be about how articles can be used and how they can help in building your online business/home based business. On one hand, many people take advantage of article directories or any other website where they can post their articles. On the other hand though, some people hardly use articles and to be honest, (to an extent) these people are losing out on building their business because they are not taking advantage of an advertising method that could very well help in building their business.

Articles can be seen as being very similar to a blog post or as some would say ‘blogging’. This is because they are both based around relevant keywords and the idea of SEO also known as Search Engine Optimization. For the beginners out there this is pretty simple. The more relevant keywords that you have in your articles, the higher your article/website will rank in Google’s search engine. This is obviously good because then it is very likely that people will visit your site and see what you have to offer. Moreover, this also helps in building your business because (depending on what you are offering), some people may be interested and even sign-up to your business opportunity.

However, when it comes to using keywords in articles, make sure that you don’t ‘overdo’ it and only place the keywords here and there. Say one or two in every paragraph because if you overuse them, the search engine may recognise them as being spam and as a result, your link/website won’t really be at the top or even on the 1st page! This is something known as keyword density. Make sure your keyword density is somewhere between 2-4% in the entire article. To calculate this, divide the amount of times you have used the keyword by the words in the article and then multiply it by 100.

For example: (keywords) = 12 divide by (words in article) = 600 times 100. So it would be 12 divided by 600x100. That is how you calculate the keyword density.

Tips on using and writing articles

Find a product/business opportunity that you know will be around for a while. Then begin to write 10 articles on this business or product ensuring that you use all the relevant keywords and keeping in limits to the 2-4% keyword density level.

The titles for your articles also need to be keyword orientated and relevant to the content of your article. DO NOT misguide people by saying one thing in the title, and then another in the article. This just annoys people and won’t really get you anywhere when it comes to creating relationships. No relationship = no business.

Take advantage of what you already have. Meaning use article directories on a regular basis and ‘upload’ your articles to these directories. Again, the title and the article have to both contain keywords and be talking about the same thing.

Keyword research is another thing that you need to be familiar with. Many people may be using the exact same keywords as you, and we all know that the competition is stiff therefore, think out the box a little and try to use keywords in a way that there not really used. You could 2 keywords together or have them both in different places in the title/sentence. Just an idea guys.

These are a few of the main things that you need to do when it comes to writing and posting articles/blogging. As you can see, this is only for those who are dedicated and believe they will be consistent in writing and submitting articles. It takes time and commitment. Your efforts WILL pay off though if you put in the work.

Building Your Business (Part 5)

This is the final segment in the series of articles that talk about building your business and offering other tips and advice. This part though will not strictly be about just building a business, but about building different streams of income and not just deciding to make money from one company. At the end of the day, what do you have to lose by trying out different things? Instead of losing something you’re more likely to be learning something new which can be added to your knowledge.

Just like any business nothing is that simple and there will be complex issues that you may need to deal with. Many people decide to stick to only one company and then don’t bother attempting to try out a different company or an opportunity. This doesn’t mean that you have to abandon the company you are with, it just means that you are branching out and looking for new ways to get an income and there is nothing wrong with that. You have to remember that when it comes to networking and network marketing, the whole point is to build relationships with those in and out of your network therefore it would be a good idea for you to check out new opportunities and the benefits that they may have.

In relation to the above, it is necessary that you know how to build the business and grow your downline. Furthermore, it is also essential that you are aware of the various ways of generating incomes from certain business opportunities and as a result being a success when it comes to making money online. You can only build your business if you see it as being a real business and having the right mindset that comes along with it. This being positive and believing that this will work and you will make money online. Whether that business is GDI, People Search or Monavie, your goal should be the same for all. Get leads, build relationships and make money!

You can do all of the above (get leads, make money online and build a downline) by completing the following:

Join affiliate programmes. This is probably one of the best ways if not the only way to generate multiple streams of income and make more money online. Some affiliate programmes are very cheap to join and maybe even free therefore take advantage of this because in the end, it could very well pay off. This is one of the best ways to make money online.

Help people before you help yourself. This concept has been mentioned in many of my articles but that’s because this is VERY important if you want some sort of success in network marketing. You can do this by simply offering people advice and tips on how to build their business; you can give out free information which could be an e-book or a report or something because it WILL hold some sort of value to them big or small. This is a great way of getting leads and even building your downline.

In addition to the above point, you can also help your downline and build a bigger downline by sharing ideas and setting weekly/monthly goals. This will help people in your downline in being focused as they will be aware of what their aim is and by sharing ideas you could be helping them in getting more people into the business which as a result, will help build your business.

So there you have it. Network marketing is a business that has been around for quite a long time and that’s exactly what it is, a business. You need to stay focused and have a couple if not a few other ways of generating an income online because if your original company went ‘broke’ or something was to happen, at least you’d have a back-up plan and be able to make money online from a different business.

Building Your Business (Part 4)

This is the fourth piece of the 5 part series on building your business and making money online. Because the third part of this sequence was mainly about leads and getting to ‘network’ with those around you, this is a nice follow-on because the topic relates around the same concept (your leads/downline). This article however, will take it to the next level and therefore go one step further into explaining what else to do with your leads instead of the obvious.

When it comes to you and your downline, it isn’t just all about you! It’s all about your team members and there well being because at the end of the day, it is these people who are contributing to your success. We all know that communication is key when it comes to network marketing but what do you do if you are thinking one thing and your downline or members of your downline are thinking of another? It may sound stupid because at the end of the day, everyone wants to make money by using the internet but it is possible that at times you and your team are not on the ‘same page’. If you are a member of GDI, then you should take advantage of the forum as you can get help and support at anytime from the other members. If you are not a member, then you don't know what your losing out on! GDI is one of if not the best home based business online.

To elaborate on the above point, (regarding different people in your team having different thoughts) if you want to achieve success and build your business, then you need to ensure that you and your team have the SAME aim or objective in mind. In other words, you have all got to be thinking of the same thing and expecting the same outcome. This may not be an easy task because some people may not reply to your e-mails or answer your phone calls but you have got to try and get in contact and if still you get nothing, then don’t waste time just move on to the next person. It’s that simple. You have NOT got the time for time-wasters or people who are not like-minded. At the end of the day, it is THERE loss not yours because at least you made an effort to reach out.

There are ways that you can all be on the ‘same page’ and train of thought. Some of these ways have been listed below:

You can create a team blog or some sort of team website. This will bring you closer and strengthen your professional relationship which could take all of you a very long way.

It is YOUR job to give advice and tips to the people in your downline. Offer them free information or let them know when you come across something that can really benefit them. This way you could be solving one of their problems.

Set some goals for everyone. Goal-setting is crucial and can get you focused because you know what you have to do and by when. You may not achieve all goals but if you put in the time and the effort then the chances of you meeting them are a lot more likely.

The above may not seem like a lot but believe me, things like that take time and time is something that you need to put into the business especially if you are intending to build it. Overall, the main aim for you and your team is to be focused on the EXACT same thing as well as staying positive and hopeful.

Building Your Business (Part 3)

The first two parts of this series on building your business have successfully been published which brings me onto the third part. This is another very crucial factor when it comes to any online or offline business. Your downline. Your downline or your customers as some people would say are the backbone of your business because without these people the chances of you making money are very unlikely. It is the people in your downline whose efforts can either give you huge success or a miserable failure. This article then will mainly be revolved around your downline and their existence!

Your downline can be seen as being your lifeline when it comes to building your online business whether that's GDI, EZ2x2 or any other home based business. This is because (as mentioned above), they hold the key to either your success or unfortunately your failure. Network marketing isn’t called what it is for just any old reason. The whole point is to ‘network’ and getting to know people better, building relationships and maintaining them relationships as well as you can. If you do this and follow what you have just read, then you are bound to go a hell of a long way in building your business and generating a very good income.

Having a downline though doesn’t mean that YOU do all the work. What you should be doing though is:

Being a good sponsor
Offering them tips and advice
Helping them solve their problems (if they have any)
KEEPING IN REGULAR CONTACT!!!

All of the above may very well come under one heading which is to be a good sponsor but at the end of the day, different people have different explanations of what a ‘good sponsor’ actually means. The above is just my personal perspective. Moving on though, if you do all these things then you are maintaining a strong relationship with members of your downline which will ultimately pay off in your benefit.

Quality over quantity

This brings me onto the idea of actually managing to keep a downline and ensuring your success by being able to successfully build your business. If you are an experienced networker then you will be aware of the following but if you are new to this business and are slowly growing your downline, then DON’T less this put you off. It is likely that people will leave your business and will therefore no longer be in your downline. Now then, you shouldn’t let this get to you because let’s face it, there is a 80% chance that those people were either quitters, or believed that this whole thing of making money online is a scam and so they left. With that said, why would you want a quitter to be in your business? Why would you want a person who has no self-belief in your business? You’re better off having 5 people who are serious and willing to learn and succeed rather than having 10 who are lazy and just aren’t bothered! So, now you know why this paragraph is entitled quality over quantity guys.

That is all for now though. If you are new to this business then you as well as I know, there is a lot of information that you need to absorb and as a result, you must be feeling like your head is about to explode! The idea here though, is to take it one step at a time and with these articles/mini-series/entire blog that is the concept. Hopefully you will learn a lot from these and then use what you have read and put it into action in order to build your business and make money online.

Building Your Business (Part 2)

This is the second part of the mini-series which offers tips and advice on how to build your business. The first part was a general introduction and also contained a few points on what to do and what not to do when it comes to running an online business. This part however will revolve around more of a specific topic which is related to your cash and how much money you can REALLY make when it comes to building your business.

To begin with, you’ve got to be realistic and look at the bigger picture instead of being unrealistic and looking at the smaller picture! The chances of you making a million overnight, in a day, a week, a month or even a year is very unlikely. Only a very small amount of marketers have managed to do this therefore this proves that making money online and building your business is NOT impossible and that it can be done but it does take time and effort.

Before joining any business you should conduct a decent amount of research and try to get as much information as possible, trying to understand what the business is about. Furthermore, even though it is important and it is probably one of the main reasons as top why you joined an online business, ensure that the compensation plan is a good one. Try to contact people who are already a part of the business and ask them for their opinion of both the business itself and its pay plan.

A testimonial from someone you know who is already an affiliate of the business can really make the difference between signing up and deciding to move onto the next business opportunity. Moreover, try to find out if the business actually pays you what they say and do they pay you on time? You have got to take all these factors into consideration because you are investing YOUR money into this business therefore wouldn’t you like to get your money’s worth and get the most out of it?

Moreover, seeing as you’re investing money into this business don’t you think it would be a wise idea to check out the businesses pay plan and how much you can make when it comes to certain things. For example, before you join, find out the amount of commission you might earn on a product or make sure you find out the amount you will get paid if you sign up someone and how much YOU will get when they too sign someone up (seeing as both of these people will be in your downline). This is related to the comment where the bigger picture and the smaller picture are mentioned. Don’t be unrealistic and only look at the end product if you cannot manage to get past or complete the foundation stages.

Lastly, it is best if you join a business that is free to sign up with and the monthly subscriptions are low (especially if you are new to network marketing) such as Monavie for example. To join this business is completely free and you don’t have to pay them monthly payments either! Joining a business with minimal subscription amounts is a good way of not only saving your money but also building your business on a budget.

That is all for now guys. Keep your eyes open though because the 3rd installement of this mini-series will be posted very soon so until then, good luck and continue to build your business!

Building Your Business (Part 1)

When it comes to building an online business or any business in general many people tend to either quit or go broke within the first couple of years. This is a known fact. They quit because they are either seeing no success and in the end are not bothered to put in a little more effort or time. On the other hand, they go broke because their expenditure is a lot more than there income and as a result, their online business career comes to a halt. However, this is the 1st part of a mini-series of articles which will give you advice on how to build your business and NOT go broke or end up quitting within the first couple of years.

Your mind state and thinking

The first thing that you need in order to succeed and upon which everything relies on, is your mind state and self-belief. If you believe that running an online business or using the internet to make money is a scam then don’t even bother trying to build or run an online business and if that is the case then why are you here reading this? Maybe you’ll find something that will change your mind? An opinion which will change your mind? Well, the most powerful weapon you have to succeed is your mind and the thinking you do with it. With positive thinking come positive results. Similarly, you have got to BELIEVE that this WILL work and that you CAN do it and make money from it. Take People Search for example. This is a great service because it actually works meaning you do get paid and your business does grow. Right from the start, my mindset was positive and Tissa paid me a couple weeks back!

Taking responsibility

This is something that hundreds or maybe even thousands of networkers don’t take consideration in. Running and building your business is your responsibility. Don’t start complaining or moaning if you are not making a lot of money or if people are dropping out of your downline. Take responsibility for your actions and put in the effort so that YOUR work is paid off. People drop out all the time but that doesn’t mean you stop building the business. Maybe you should have helped them more or offered advice seeing as YOU were their sponsor. However, don’t let this put you off because you don’t need quitters in your team.

Cash management

This is another reason as to why many people don’t last very long in the networking industry. How can you build a business if you are using all your money on something else or purchasing things which you don’t bother to use?! A smart networker will use the money earned to invest in another source of learning so that he can increase his knowledge and build his/her business. It may sound stupid but some people may buy e-books or programmes etc and then not use them! What is the point in this? Use your money wisely and ensure you invest it only when you need to. There are loads of ways of advertising for FREE which work just as well as paying for advertising.

Help others out before yourself

This may seem like an option that won’t get you anywhere but believe me, this can and will go a long way in building your business. Why? Because by helping someone you are solving their problems and in return building a rapport between yourself and the recipient. This then leads to an increase in trust which as a result, could turn that person into a new sign-up for your business. Patience is the key when it comes to this.

The above are just a few tips that will help you in building your business and generating some sort of income. Remember though, building a business and making money won’t happen overnight, it takes a lot of time and effort in order to succeed. Lastly, no matter what you should never give up if you are not seeing success. Keep trying and use various advertising methods. Something will work it just depends on you. Good luck.
