Blogging for beginners
Everyone is a beginner when they start something new. Whether that is learning to play a sport, learning to swim or even deciding to run/be an affiliate of an online business. Either way, everybody starts somewhere and with time, they begin to show improvement and master that one thing (if they want to that is). With that said, there are people out there who are a business affiliate or a networker but don’t yet have a blog. This is something you need to work on right away. This series is for everyone but is mainly intended for those people who do not yet have a blog and for those who do but aren’t sure how to succeed with it.
What is a blog
A blog is basically a website that you can own which gives you the right to express literally anything you want (within reason obviously lol). It is a place where you can write articles ranging from how to advertise your online business and ways of making money online to simply expressing your opinions on something or even talking about your favorite music artists/giving reviews etc. It’s entirely up to you.
Below is a list where you are given some tips and advice on how to start writing some good blogs and how you can use them to build your online business, offline business or whatever else you are advertising/promoting. These points will mainly be linked to those who network and are looking to build their business.
Tips on blog writing
1) The first thing you should do is ensure you include links in your posts. This gives the reader something to do instead of just reading and that’s it. Also, how else are you going to advertise and build your business without having a link that will direct them to a site? Links then are very crucial when it comes to building your business using a blog.
2) Offer valuable content. This is another thing that you need to make sure is included throughout your blog. If you want to succeed in network marketing, you need to build relationships with those in the same field. This relationship is built through traffic and people who opt in or subscribe to your blog. Again, people are more likely to subscribe if you are offering solid, valuable information that can help solve their problems.
3) Your articles need to be written grammatically and so presented in a professional manner. Everything needs to be correct and the layout/structure should also be on-point. This makes it easier to read your post and also makes you and your blog look a lot more professional. Furthermore, the more professional you look, the more likely someone will do business with you.
4) When it comes to blogs, you need to be both consistent an efficient. You should be aiming to post articles on a regular basis and not once a week or even twice a week. 5 articles a week isn’t too bad but posting one every day is even better. Why? Because the more you post, the more chances you have of your blog being seen.
5) If you ever have ‘writers block’ (where you can’t think of anything to write) then it is a good idea to check out other blogs and read the information on there. You have to be careful here though because you don’t want to go down for copyright (as some blogs have this). However, taking this approach may give you new topics and ideas to write about.
So in conclusion, a blog is a great way of not only building your business but also building relationships with the thousands of other networkers around you. This is the crucial part because people will join people for who they are and what they have to offer. If you are offering something of value it is more likely someone will join you as to where you can start a new, professional relationship.
